Clam Pass
Address: At the end of Pine Ridge Road, Naples, Fl
Description: State and local officials often refer to parks as the real Florida. Clam Pass is a good example. As remote as local beaches with car access get, Clam Pass is at the intersection of Seagate Drive and Crayton Road just south of the Pelican Bay development. Another public park with lots of beach space and a three-quarter mile elevated boardwalk through a coastal tree canopy.
Pros: Native vegetation and untouched shoreline.
Cons: Difficult to find and squeezed between Pelican Bay and the Naples City limits.
Likely visitors: Nature lovers and people wanting a little seclusion.
Getting there: Take Pine Ridge Road west until it turns into Seagate Drive. The parking lot is at the end of the road. Free, frequent tram service is available from the parking lot or the beach is about a twenty-minute walk.
Parking: Parking is $6 a day or free with a Collier County or Naples City beach parking sticker.
