Barron Collier, Gulf Coast and Naples will have signing ceremonies for student-athletes on Wednesday.
At Barron Collier, football players Frankie Bray (North Carolina Wesleyan), Sonny James (Methodist University), Jorge Montes (Mount Union College), Juan Montes (Mount Union College), Nick Ross (Campbellsville University), Kyle Vanduser (Liberty), and Alex Velasquez (undecided) will sign at 2:15 p.m.
At Gulf Coast, football players Anthony Pitingolo (Mount Union), Anthony Jackson (St. Olaf), Charles Clairmont (Valley State) and Ry Davis (undecided), and girls soccer players Jamie Takala (North Alabama), Rachel E. King and Nina Cibula of Newberry College (Division II).
Naples High boys basketball player Tyler Gubbrud will receive financial aid to play basketball at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn. A ceremony will take place at 9 a.m. in the principal’s conference room.
