Band performance Sunday to benefit juvenile diabetes research

— The Lost Cause Blues Band will perform Sunday at South Street City Oven & Grill to benefit the Florida Suncoast Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

The event is from 5 to 7 p.m. The restaurant is at 1410 Pine Ridge Road in the shopping plaza near the southwest intersection of Pine Ridge and Goodlette-Frank roads.

A $10 donation at the door is suggested.
