What is your favorite restaurant?
The Island Grill. You can sit outside and they serve really good food. Plus, the menu is different; not the same old thing. We like the corn bread, coconut shrimp and tropical salad.
What other places do you like?
We like Bistro 821. The atmosphere’s not quite as good, but the food is little better. There’s D’Angelo’s, Tommy Bahama’s and Jane’s Grill, too. Sometimes, we feel Naples is much like the Seychelles Islands.
What is your favorite cuisine?
Seafood! I have found ceviche to be a new treat.
What qualities do you look for in a restaurant to entertain guests?
We don’t like the air-conditioning to be too cold. In Germany, we don’t get to sit outside so much, so we like that. Also, the service in most places is too fast. For us, taking away the plates or bringing the check too soon is a no-no. Back home, meals can take hours to complete. We feel rushed.
