Saks Fifth Avenue at Waterside Shops opened in November 1992 at 5395 U.S. 41 N., Naples, and is unveiling the first phase of its most recent renovation and addition Thursday. Browse the new cosmetics, jewelry, ladies shoes and men’s departments to see the latest trends and designs.

“The project has been going on for quite some time. We began the planning throughout the renovation of the Waterside Shops (since 2005) to enhance the luxury shopping experience for our residents and tourists,” said Kellie Jacoby, public relations and special events manager of Saks Fifth Avenue, Naples.

By the numbers:

-- 30,000 — The original square footage of store in 1992

-- 10,000 — Additional square footage in 1995 when men’s department was opened

-- 40,000 — Total square footage of store from 1995 to June 2008
