Their endorsement for Collier Sheriff, KEVIN RAMBOSK, was an easy decision. There is absolutely no better person to fill this important position.

Kevin has given his entire professional life to public service, and he will provide all of us in Collier County with an agency that truly is COLLIER'S FINEST!

PLEASE REMEMBER TO GET OUT AND VOTE ON AUGUST 26TH, and remind your family and friends to do the same. It's important to exercise your right to vote; this is one of the pillars of our democracy.

Vote for yourself, not from recommendations of some "political" group with their own agendas.

I too have come to ignore most political endorsements. Most are just based on who is friends of who or what that candidate has promised that particular group.

Best advice I can give any voter is to educate your self on all the candidates then vote for who you feel will do the best job.

Ignore all the silly endorsements and for goodness sakes don't vote just along a certain party line. There are good candidates out there from all walks of life.

Kathy Curatolo?? Better Government?? HA! I guess having your campaign mgr on the committee helps.

Vote your own.Don't listen to endorsements. You have to remember some people have these people in their pockets. Rambosk is a Hunter clone. They need change at the CCSO. Hunter has had people in his pocket for years & some people will not go against him. Like this newpaper and most of the media here in SW FL. All incumbants must go that includes school board & commissioners. CCSO really needs change. The tribal tattooed brothers have got to go. Now let the tattoos come out & complain about me.

Question: Why doesn't the Naples News or the committee themselves report that KATHY'S CAMPAIGN MANAGER IS ON THE COMMITTEE THAT ENDORSED HER????? This endorsement has the same old political stink like an old pair of hot, summer time, work shoes!

Time for some fresh air!!!

Rick MacClugage for School Board!!!!!!

If it's true that Kathy's campaign manager is on the committee that endorsed her then that's unfair. Makes you wonder what other candidates had friends or someone they influenced on the committee. This endorsement means nothing. The citizens have had it with all the BS & are going to vote incumbants out. And I think they will.

#12 Posted by Toesmom on July 3, 2008 at 2:15 p.m. (Suggest removal)

Its 100% true, but her manager wasn't able to vote is the story. I'm sure Kathy's manager asked the committee members (who she socializes with)to analyze all the candidates equally with no favoritism, wink-wink!!!

The community has had it with the Hunter/Rambosk machine. It seems only the same good old boys under a new name of "better government" haven't gotten the message. What a shock that this group would endorse their guy!

The public wants and needs a change. Vote Ortino and clean up this mess called the CCSO.

Toesmom, again, give some facts. You always come on here spewing total fiction. You have not once, EVER been able to back up one thing you have written. I can't wait until Aug 27th, when the tally shows a landslide victory for Rambosk. Then maybe you will slide back into the void from which you came.

The big win will prove that the majority is not dim enough to vote Ortino.

Keep Kathy Smith for Public Defender. Her experience, professionalism and service speaks for itself. This endorsement is wonderful and helps reinforce the fact that she is the best person for the job!

Since March 6, coyotes have been fingered in a string of attacks against dogs, cats and goats in Lee and Collier counties. Coyotes have killed three small dogs, injured three others, and caused a man who came into contact with the coyote’s saliva and a woman who was bitten by one to have rabies shots.
