A Southwest Florida tradition continued Saturday as The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club kicked off its popular "SummerJazz on the Gulf" concert series.
This marks the 23rd consecutive year of the fun, free concert series, which combines the smooth sounds of jazz with beautiful views of the Gulf, exquisite sunsets, refreshing breezes, and a relaxing atmosphere. Each concert is held on the resort’s scenic Watkins Lawn overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
The first in a series of four concerts this summer featured saxophonist Mike MacArthur of the Mike MacArthur Group performing under a tiki hut at golf club.
"SummerJazz on the Gulf" will take place one Saturday evening per month June through September, and each concert will be from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. This year’s concerts will continue on July 19, Aug. 23 and Sept. 13.
