— The championship series for District 18's 10-11 year-old All-Stars is slated to resume Tuesday at 6 p.m. Rain and lightning forced play to be suspended late Monday night with Lehigh leading San Carlos 9-0 in the top of the fourth inning of game two.

Lehigh needs to win in order to force a deciding game three, which, if necessary, will immediately follow the conclusion of game two.

San Carlos won the opener, 4-2, early Monday evening. Alden Gunder delivered a run-scoring double in a three-run first inning for San Carlos.

All games are at Three Oaks Park.

Coyotes have killed three small dogs, injured three others, and caused a man who came into contact with the coyote’s saliva and a woman who was bitten by one to have rabies shots.
