Lee County Sheriff's officers from the Narcotics/Vice Unit arrested and charged four people Wednesday night in connection with marijuana growhouses that were uncovered in Lehigh Acres.
Detectives had been conducting surveillance on a house at 2815 13th St. SW in Leigh Acres, and upon being given permission to enter the house Wednesday night, they discovered 28 marijuana plants. They arrested and charged Gabriel Lamabrid, 39, and Maria Pardon-Rodriguez, 36. A press release late Wednesday night from the Lee County Sheriff's office did not list the charges.
Based on information gathered from the first house, detectives were led to 2906 13th St. SW where 25 more marijuana plants were uncovered. The detectives arrested and charged Alexander Rodriguez, 32, and Yenisey Diaz, 19.

Police budgets must be increased now to ensure that the police can counter the increasing latino gang crime before these criminals take stronger hold here in the Gulf Coast. These gangs (Salvatrucha, Mara 18) are a cancer in Virginia, Maryland, and DC due to the large concentration of Salvadorian and other Central American undocumented aliens there. These criminals will ruin the county if left unchecked.

why is it that lehigh is always in the news for these "grow houses"? i've only been there once in the 4 years i've lived here, and never plan to go back... but what is it about houses in lehigh that are better for growing weed? are there just more stupid criminals in lehigh that get high? are houses farther apart and easier to conceal activities from neighbors? is electricity cheaper to run grow lamps? do they not have communities that interact or even churches in that city? do they have a mayor and city gov't and if so, what do they say about it everytime it happens?
here is the 64 dollar question... are there more hispanics and/or white trash in lehigh than in other areas?

the only pattern i see there is names that end with z. i'm not racist. if they are all american citizens, then the illegal immigrant card can't be played. if it's because they are hispanic americans, i only ask why hispanic americans would tend to do the grow house thing... but, why in lehigh acres? i'm just asking why lehigh acres is prominent in the news for busting 'grow houses'. what makes lehigh acres a continuing news item for drugs? why is lehigh acres and golden gate down in naples such a bug grow house area and you never hear about other grow house busts in other areas like estero, bonita and naples?

my area and surrounding areas... bonita springs, estero, north naples... seems to be the capital for people busted for driving without a valid license. i'd really like to know why people in these areas seem to be so inclined to do that? why? this isn't a racist question... but a legitimate one. if it turns into a racial issue... then am i a racist to ask this? if daily we read of hispanic type named people are driving without a license... then i logically want to know why that is?
do i assume all the little 4 cylinder honda putt putts on old 41.. with the flames painted on them, radical spoilers, loud boom boom music blaring... should i assume they are unlicensed drivers that i should worry about?
if you aren't an astronaut, you don't fly on the shuttle. if you aren't 21, you don't buy alcohol. if you don't have a pilots license you don't fly a plane.
so, if you don't have a drivers license.... don't get behind the wheel... right? i don't get it.
on the same note... regarding this news item... why are most names associated with grow houses hispanic names? but, when you see busts for pot, cocaine possession it's caucasion names alot of times?
logical assumption says one type class grow it and push it while another class use it. why?
just "don't do drugs" and pushers and growers don't have customers... right?
