Community School defeated St. Ann’s, 2-0, in the Sunshine Athletic Conference championship girls soccer game on Saturday at Golden Gate Community Park.
“I could not be prouder of the girls and the way they played,’’ CSN coach Randy Bills said. “We knew St Ann was going to come out strong and they did.
“We had three starters in Orlando at the Florida State Middle School Track Meet, and we knew that was going to hurt us. Our girls stepped up to the challenge by playing exceptional soccer all game long.’’
