The Taste of Coconut Point, a food-tasting event featuring more than 25 Coconut Point restaurants, has been set for this summer at the mall just north of Bonita Springs.

The event is July 13, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Coconut Point in the South Lakeside parking area.

Admission is $3 person, with proceeds benefitting the Bonita Springs Chapter of Shoes that Fit, the Simon Youth Foundation and the Foundation for the Developmentally Disabled.

Select restaurants will sample menu items for an additional fee, ranging from $2 to $5.

Visitors will sample menu items from some of the mall’s restaurants and eateries, including Ruth’s Chris, California Pizza Kitchen, The Grape, Johnny Rockets and more. There will be live entertainment and kids’ activities.

Attendees will be able to use the new Coconut Connection Card, a restaurant discount card. As attendees visit different restaurants, they will receive a stamp from each location.

The Coconut Connection Card can be used from July 13 through Nov. 15.

Cards are available at any Coconut Point restaurant, or at the management office on Fashion Drive.
