Naples Chamber names Goehler chief operating, financial officer

The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce has a new chief operating officer and chief financial officer.
James L. Goehler was named to the posts Monday, Chamber President and Chief Executive Officer Michael Reagan announced.
“Jim Goehler is a senior banking executive with over 30 years experience in the financial institutions industry,” Reagen said in a news release.
“Jim’s strong business development, leadership, operational and financial skills will help us continue to advance The Chamber.”
A graduate of the University of Akron and a certified public accountant in Ohio, North Carolina and Florida, Goehler has served as president of the Bank of Florida, Southwest and senior executive vice president of First National Bank of Florida.
Goehler also has served as a member of the Board of Directors of The Chamber, The United Way of Collier County (1997 Campaign Chair), The Boys and Girls Club, the YMCA of Collier County and the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collier County, among others.
He worked more recently as executive director of the Downtown Naples Association. He succeeds Stephanie Martin, who accepted a position as director of business management for the Corporate Information Technology Division of the American Cancer Society.
