It's almost not news, but the average price of gasoline and diesel fuel set another record today in Southwest Florida.

AAA's daily Fuel Gauge report shows that the price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was up a penny and a half this morning: $3.759 today over $3.743 on Monday. Diesel fuel was at $4.371 today and $4.330 yesterday. Today's prices are highs for both grades of fuel.

The Fuel Gauge report is for the Fort Myers-Cape Coral area. Naples is not included, according to AAA.

NDN, you start the begining of the article with, "It almost not news.." Well it isn't anymore, yes the price of gas rises every single day. Also, since it has never been this high, every single day will "set a new record." Can't you report on something worthwhile?

Think yourself lucky. It's $10 a gallon in the UK.
