Gas prices continue path to the $4 mark

Gasoline and diesel fuel prices in Southwest Florida continued their climb to $4 per gallon as the Memorial Day holiday continues to get closer. Prices set another record today.

According to the daily AAA Fuel Gauge report, the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is $3.823, up nearly a cent over yesterday and up from $3.022 a year ago. Diesel fuel was $4.477, up three cents from yesterday and from $2.951 from a year ago.
