Three teams from the Gulf Coast High School athletic program won their sports in their respective class level in the Florida High School Athletic Association State Academic Championship.
The Sharks’ girls swimming and diving team won in Class 2A with a cumulative 3.592 grade-point average. The softball team won Class 5A with a 3.393, and the boys track and field team won in Class 3A with a 3.280.
Naples High’s baseball team also won its class level with a 3.343 in Class 4A baseball.
