The International Design Center is offering free design and home-idea seminars to the public throughout October. The center is off Interstate 75 at Exit 123 on Corkscrew Road in Estero between Naples and Fort Myers.

■ “Change Your Life by Changing Your Space with Feng Shui,” today, 2 p.m. Learn how to create spatial harmony with the ancient Chinese art form of Feng Shui from Jeannie Bloomfield, a Sarasota design professional. Bloomfield focuses on aligning one’s environment with nature’s healing forces, clearing clutter and improving energy both at home and at work.

■ “Meet the Artist: Painter and Ceramicist Christine Scott,” noon to 4 p.m., Oct. 11. “Gallery artist” Scott discusses her varying styles and techniques. Her discussion is sponsored by Florida West Arts.

■ Le Creuset cooking demonstration, 2 p.m., Oct. 18. Kitchen designer Clive Christian sponsors a demonstration with Le Creuset Cookware, featuring its designer colors, varied designs and ergonomic engineering.
