Tickets for the 20th annual Merrill Lynch Shootout will go on sale today.
The unofficial PGA Tour event features 12 two-person teams and will be played at Tiburon Golf Club from Dec. 10-14. Naples resident and U.S. Open runner-up Rocco Mediate already has committed to the field.
Host Greg Norman will be in Naples on Oct. 13 to announce the majority of the field. Woody Austin and Mark Calcavecchia are the defending champions.
Tickets are $75 for a weekly grounds pass, $60 daily for 18th green reserved seating, $25 in advance for a tournament daily grounds pass (Dec. 12, 13 or 14), and $20 in advance for a pro-am daily grounds pass (Dec. 10 or 11). Children 12 years and under will be admitted free with a ticketed adult.
The event's Taste of WCI ticket package continues to be on sale.
For $110, fans receive one weekly grounds ticket and more than 50 golf vouchers allowing play on 12 championship courses for cart fee only. For more information, visit www.mlshootout.com or call 888-66-SHARK or 239-254-9770 to reserve.
