Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida host informational membership meetings

The Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida will host informational membership meetings beginning Tuesday.

Information nights are meant to offer a description of the modern Girl Scout program. All meetings begin at 7 p.m. and last about an hour.

Tuesday’s meeting will be held at Sea Gate Elementary’s cafeteria, 650 Seagate Drive. The Girl Scouts will hold a meeting for interested girls on Wednesday in Osceola Elementary cafeteria, 5770 Osceola Trail.

    Since March 6, coyotes have been fingered in a string of attacks against dogs, cats and goats in Lee and Collier counties. Coyotes have killed three small dogs, injured three others, and caused a man who came into contact with the coyote’s saliva and a woman who was bitten by one to have rabies shots.
