Bridge Scene: ‘Fifth Chair’ fosters the game

The Fifth Chair Foundation is an International organization dedicated to fostering bridge education on the Internet and attracting new players to the game. The name Fifth Chair stands for the kibitzer’s chair. The kibitzer is a person who pulls up a chair to a table to watch four other people play bridge; he must not comment on the play but sit quietly to observe and learn.
