It was time to celebrate when the Golden Gate National recorded the final out in their opening game of the Little League junior division District 27 tournament, July 10, at Golden Gate Community Park. National went on to take the three-team tournament.

With hands raised signifying who was number one in the District 27 10-11 year-old division, Greater Naples earned the opportunity to advance to the Section 6 tournament beginning this weekend at San Carlos Little League.
