Food: 8/10 Vibe: 7/10 Service: 10/10 Value: 7/10 Overall: 8/10
The food was very good, the service was excellent, and the setting clean and comfortable. Saffron has an excellent opportunity to distinguish itself from the competition in Bonita Springs and Fort Myers, but it's going to take a little more effort. The portions were modest, and the presentation of the food items could have been a bit more pleasing to the eye. We had the onion kulcha (delicious) and shrimp and chicken entrees (flavorful, with just the right amount of spice) Overall, "nice" Indian restaurant (though the chef is from Nepal) with plenty of room for improvement.

Ate there on Saturday with 3 others. Excellent service. Our 2 veggie entrees were excellent, the benghan bharta and the palak paneer. The lamb vindaloo was extremely hot, as it SHOULD be (thank you for not dumbing down the heat!) but too salty. The tandoori chicken seemed a bit overcooked. Very nice mulligatawny soup, excellent naan and papadum. Yes, with tweaking, we'll have a winner. I thought the portions were spot on.
