Description: Taco Mix, formerly known as Taco Ardiente, kind of feels like a cross between a Wendy’s and a taqueria in Guadalajara. Which isn’t a bad thing. Though ownership changed in 2007, the menu remained virtually identical to the original Taco Ardiente, but with the addition of a few Cuban items. Lovers of authentic Mexican food can feast on sope, tamales and mole. Those tending toward the gringo end of the spectrum probably will find what they’re looking for as well with offerings such as taco salad and Mexican pizza. And you’d be hard-pressed to spend more than 10 bucks on dinner at Taco Mix.

Quick & Cheap. Good tacos and burritos. Has a drive-thru and makes for a quick stop on the way home.
