Beat: Bonita Springs city government reporter
Started with the Daily News: Aug. 22, 2005
Bio: I came to the Daily News from Ohio, where I worked for a newspaper in Sandusky. Prior to that, I attended The Ohio State University, where I first became interested in reporting by covering sports and politics. I graduated OSU with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in June 2003. Working in Florida was attractive to me because I knew it would be a fun place to live and a lot of interesting and strange news comes out of the Sunshine State. When I'm not sifting my way through city government paper work, I look after my two dogs, play rugby, hang out on the beach and go running. I'm also a ardent follower of popular culture, particularly movies, television and literature.
