George was my brother in law and after every Raider-Broncos game, I would call him and razz him or admit defeat. I will miss him very much. He was a great guy and we will never forget him.

Remember when the end of Gordon drive was open and there was the little texaco station where you could fill up for a fishing trip or you could sit and watch the pass. Now there is a big green wall. I lived near Seagate in the early 70's and went to school at Seagate Elementary. I remember the rope swing we used to swing on and being allowed to launch canoes, no problem. Some guard almost attacked me recently when I tried to launch a canoe saying the water was private too. I never understood the tension between the PB folks and the Naples crowd. We all need to work together to protect the waterways. I remember when it was named water turkey bay, but no more.
