I feel for you, SkunkApe.
Can't believe they left your town completely off the map.

Season is over! Who says it's not? A couple hotels on Ft Myers Beach? Nothing to do with Naples.

No doubt! If our renters did have a party and someone called me, the party would be over.
But seriously, are renters really partying it up? Sounds like an exaggeration over perhaps an incident or two. I'm having a really hard time buying it.
Despite recent growth, Naples is still no Daytona Beach-style spring break mecca!

You have GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.
"Party-time"?????
I own a vacation rental in the City of Naples, which I have been renting out on a weekly basis for years.
You know who rents single family houses on vacations in Naples?
RETIRED COUPLES. Quiet people older people. The youngest guests we've had have been SIXTY TWO and the oldest EIGHTY SIX. TWO PEOPLE.
Yeah, they are really PARTYING IT UP at these rental houses. I'm sure!!!!!!!! It's gotta be WILD.
Sounds like someone's trying to lay the groundwork to introduce more REGULATION, TAXES and maybe even an ANNUAL LICENSING FEE. (We are already paying 6% to the state of FL and 4% tax to Collier County. And guess what, we even have to pay taxes every year on the FURNITURE inside the house. And a rental house can't be homesteaded, so the property taxes are exhorbitant. The house sits EMPTY for 8 months, BTW and seasonal rental income doesn't come close to covering expenses.)
What a joke.
And yeah, the timing is funny, now that season is over.
The city council should get a life and fight harder to ban smoking on the beach!

Pollo Tropical is great food. We need more good food that regular people can afford for lunch in this town!!! Yummy. It's needed in that area too. I hope they do well.
