3i3am3 - You can not only tell who are cops or cop's friends/family you can also tell who are ignorant idiots & who are not. Unless EMS put dirty used bandages on the guy they ripped open at least 9 new bandage packages, lets see they keep their IV needles in closed sterile packs, meds, cut off his shirt, his pants, his undies, his shoes, there was a bike, and a gun, etc... I am cop friendly so I can't count as well as you - so, you figure out the evidence markers.

Ref them kicking the Sh** out of him to break his bones (you really stepped up to the ignorant plate with this one) - when a bullet rips through a body it doesn't stop & detour around bone it breaks the bone.

So,3i3am3 take your time & re-read this as many times as you need & if you have anymore questions feel free to ask as many more dumb questions as you need.

Wow - bunch of idiot bloggers on here. Something is being done its being turned over to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for investigation. For those of you who think you police the police - most of these "issues" are discovered & investigated by the Sheriff's Office. They do police themselves & they don't cover it up ---- that is the only reason you people heard about it (it was investigated by the CCSO Professional Responsibility Bureau & that investigation became public record). Bunch of self righteous morons - get off your butts & apply if you think you are so much better than the men & women out there risking their lives for you. Most who apply can't make it through the process. Out of the Thousands of Agency Members a couple a year are found to be corrupt - I'd say that's a good record.

napleschick12182 - he's not white he's cuban (but his race is of no matter - he's a documented gang banger not the altar boy some of you are trying to make the suspect out to be)

jbum - apparently bluetongued is more in touch with the happenings in Collier than you are. Like he said stay behind your gate because you don't seem to have a grasp on reality & we don't want you getting hurt out there in the real world. The crime stats in Collier County are spread throughout the entire county - during the late real estate boom (pre-crash) a lot of the down & out properties were bought & developed. I think you need to move to Pelican Bay - maybe the rich white hairs can protect you.

RIP - JVD Mr & Mrs Davis you are in my prayers I am so sorry for your loss.

I think (not sure) that the annual Stanley Cicora (sp?) County band show is this coming Saturday, then Saturday Nov 1st is the Florida Bandmasters Association's ratings show at Fort Myers High (where all the bands in SW Florida will play) & one of the final shows of the season is supposed to be Saturday Nov 15th at Palmetto Ridge High. Hopefully a local band director will read & confirm these dates with times. Or maybe we will get lucky & Naples Daily will actually give these hard working kids some publicity & get the community out to reward their efforts.

ohh beetlejuice, beetlejuice, beetlejuice (will that make u disappear?)

I get it that you have a hard time reading & comprehending - He's not saying that sports is more important than our country he's saying that WE have put sports ahead of country.

In case you didn't know - you can't just quit at 50 points - if you quit at 50 points you lose. The other team can quit but if you quit you lose. He could have been an idiot & told his kids to lay down when Estero put the ball in play so they could score - but then really what is that teaching your kids? He did what he should have done - he pulled his first string players & put his 3rd & 4th string players on the field. Should he tell those kids who don't get much play time to quit, give in, play soft, or stop running when you see daylight? NO

And since you seem to pull pieces from things to create a picture you want others to see I will explain one more thing for anyone ignorant enough to take something you say to heart. The 30 year old football in Immokalee was a 5 foot nothing 120lb replacement kicker who maybe put up 3-4 extra points in a season that Immokalee was beating their opponents by double digits every game. He didn't change the outcome of any game.

It's people like you who blow things out of proportion that have burdened high school sports with the weight they currently have to carry. EASE UP - they are just kids playing a game. I'd prefer the kids take the lessons their coaches are teaching that the junk you are selling. Anyone that would like their kids to learn to bury the hatchet in whoever turns their back first can register them in beetlejuice101 next fall.

Good call - I like this change. Hopefully Collier will change to this system as well. It would be nice for all the kids who worked hard to be recognized & not just the snot who manipulated a last minute stunt.

irconcerned - you've got it right. Consolidating services across the county would save lives. I don't think many people understand what it means to have all these individual fire districts. If you are involved in a crash at Immokalee & Airport you will get multiple fire/rescue trucks from North Naples with several firefighters on each truck - if you get in a crash at Airport & Davis you will probably get an Engine & a Rescue truck from East Naples - if you are driving to Miami & get in a crash at SR 29 & US 41 you will get 1 truck with maybe 2 or 3 firefighters - if you go out to Immokalee to play bingo or watch the races & get in a wreck you would get 1 truck & be lucky if there's 2 firefighters on the truck. None of us stay in our own backyards - spread the help around the county to keep everyone safer.

Dr. Tober is doing a great job - if there are other medications on board that do the same things these 8 meds do then why waste the money. Sounds like some firefighter/paramedics got their feelings hurt - you chose to drive a big red truck & get your cush schedule, if you want to get back in the blue jumpsuit go back to EMS.

On Collier fire trucks will no longer carry eight medicines

Its nice how you racial idiots bag Immokalee all the time. I grew up there but live in Naples now - (I miss the small town values & decency). I grew up expecting a certain level of decency in everyone until I went to a high school band camp at Barron Collier & interacted with other kids from around the county my freshman year. Those of you who constantly disrespect the people of Immokalee have no idea what you're talking about or better said you have no concern for anyone but yourself & therefore won't take the time to actually learn a little about the town east of so called paradise. I've lived on both sides of the county. The people of Immokalee are great, they actually respect authority. The kids in Immokalee are working hard to make a good life for themselves & their families they aren't walking around like Naples teens who think they are owed the world because their parents spent more time teaching them to keep up with the joneses/maintaining their social hierarchy than teaching them to respect their fellow man.

Now before all of you haters start tossing out your amazing come backs like - if you love Immokalee so much go home (I would if I could afford the gas to commute) or some other witty comment just know that your idiocy won't change Immokalee or my opionion of it - but it will make you look like more of an idiot.

If you look at the stats - it was a GRIND. Naples couldn't pass - Immokalee couldn't run. It was a GRIND - I don't think Naples felt comfortable until the last quarter. They recognized the potential in Immokalees QB & Recievers. Naples didn't dominate but they did win. Naples better hope that Immokalee's receivers don't get their act together because they have a good QB who was tossing some great passes & Naples secondary is their obvious weakness.
