My Mom put up an Obama yard sign at the Shores and they gave her ten kinds of hell for it and this sicko defaces the image of a Presidential Candidate and they don't do squat about it. Typical Condo Nazis.

No Mario Diaz, you are putting words in the mouth of the hard-working Americans of Southwest Florida, who are tired of all the fat cats in this Country getting the tax breaks and nothing for the middle class. So stop distorting the facts. Take your propaganda your Candidate and Joe the Plumber and head for Cuba, see if you can do any good over there with your B.S.

Tell me that you want the kind of thing that money just can't buy
I don't care too much for money, money can't buy me love.
(And in the case of you Repubs it can't buy you an election either.)

JS - only one correction I would make, Pummalo is a narrowminded, arshole because he was born that way, not necessarily because he is a Republican. There is still hope for a large portion of the GOP with the clear thinkers amongst them seeing who the obvious and best choice is for '08...Colin Powell, Susan Eisenhower and the many fine, respectable registered Republicans amongst them who I met at the 'Republicans for Obama' gathering I attended at the Broadway Palm Theater in F.M.
Go Obama !!!

Pummalo your a moron: you should have given the waiter his due and given the homeless man charity if thats want you wanted to do. But being the narrow-minded Republican arshole that you are, you cheated the waiter and made the homeless man complicit in your dishonesty. You have proven nothing to me. Obama position is fair for all: give the working man/woman his or her due in the form of a tax break, the same worker that helped you the corporate fat-cat get where you are and enjoy the fruits of the labor of many. Share in the burden of taxes a little more fairly to EVERYONES benefit. But because your thinking is so monolithic and blockheaded I am not suprised you can't figure out the value of this message.

I carefully read through the sample ballot sent in advance. The idea is to know your ballot completely, inside and out before you get to the polls, so by all means study and research every choice on your sample ballot first, mark it, take it with you. If you threw it out earlier you can still download a copy from your local Supervisor of Elections website: colliervotes.com or leeelections.com.
If you need help with Constitutional Amendments simply type 'Florida Constitutional Amendments' in Google, a ton of good sites will pop up that clarify the amendments and put them in simple english. One of the best I found was:
tampabay.com/news/politics/state/article501958.ece, help from the St. Petersburg Times. (NDN you should be doing the same thing for readers, or if you have, make it more obvious, because I can't find it)
I have two rules: if a local candidate was too lazy to campaign for themselves or participate in a debate with their opponent, I vote them out.
If a candidate wants to keep their seat and I can't research their accomplishments on the internet or library, I vote them out, I would rather not vote for a complete unknown than risk giving a seat to the wrong person.

#24 kneejerk-"Has anyone noticed that they have replaced Cindy McCain with a robot. I hope she doesn't get caught in the rain and blow a circuit."
I LOL with this one dude!!!
Perhaps Old Lady McCain should bring her daugther-in-law along for the ride. Might humanize her a little (if thats at all possible).

My predictions:
#1) Hillary will accept and will be great in this high profile position as its tailor made for her. Her husband is ambassador extraordinaire now with his Clinton Global Initiative. Even George H.W. gives this one the thumbs up.
#2) GM bailout will happen and by 2010 they will be rolling out the next generation of cutting edge alternative fuel and hybrid vehicles that will be exported around the world as the first major initiative to cure our trade deficit repair global warming and aid our domestic economy.
