OK, all of you guys! I'm not liking what any of you are saying! So let's meet up later to settle this! You pick the place! I'll take you all on at once! LOL. How do you pick a fistfight via email? If you possess any common sense you would find it tough to even get into a fight in person. And via email you still have time to cool off and think rationally. What in the world could have been said that would provoke this? I vote that these guys be hired for the newly opened positions on Marco Island....they would fit right in.

If my wife phoned to tell me she was all tied up with rope, I would also go directly home & not call 911! This guy obviously saw it as an invitation for some afternoon play. Gotta love Kinky!

PhoebesMom - So I guess that the NFD has also made the restaurant remove all the bare bulbs that are hanging from the ceiling that are within reach of patrons so that they can not start this chain of events? Oh, And I guess that NFD has made them keep the additional 540 customers out of the building? Oh, and they made them unweld all the exits? And they made them remove the revolving door? OH, PhoebesMom, you are right, I can see all these similarities! PLEASE! It is just a small operator trying to do business!

Wow, I heard that the new NDN policy is to give as little information as possible. And I think that the editor really screwed up on this one. The article is really supposed to read "Someone, somewhere attempted to do something to themselves and they were stopped by some authorities in the general vicinity and did something to end the situation after some unknown amount of time."

I want to propose that from now on NDN just writes the real entire story but leaves blanks for certain words (like MAD-LIBS) it would have the same effect as the reporting we are getting right now.

But seriously, why don't we take advantage of this 'flaw' of NDN's and utilize it to imagine who the possible person is. You know, better our day by having the occasional daydream. Me, I'm imagining its my ex. Who do you wish it was?

Well, the article says it very clearly..."The second suspect, who entered the safe, can be seen in the photograph on the right. " Yeah, right! You can't see crap in either photo because they are too small! The question is not who submitted the article and pictures, the real question is who reviewed and approved them.

My understanding is that NDN will be adding a section to their print newspaper. It will always run as section B, making it the most important group of articles after the front page (A) section. It will simply be called "DUH". All articles will be written by Captain Obvious. All illustrations will be crayon drawn stick figures. Best thing is that every article will tell us what we already know!

My question is....Is this how these councilpeople run their households? When the going gets tough, when they should really be clipping coupons and shopping at Walmart instead of Publix, do they just come up with innovative ways to have their employers pay them more money instead? Where in the world is the answer for fiscal irresponsibility more fiscal irresponsibility? Oh, I forgot, this is Marco Island...
