It is actually a State Statute that they make this information public. It is a result of all of the attorneys fighting "speed traps." It will always be published Rockford...

"About 70 percent of Florida Gulf Coast University’s students qualify for Bright Futures scholarships, and at universities with higher admissions standards, that number is probably closer to 95 percent, said Richard Laviolette, FGCU’s director of admissions."

This fact alone scares me! I live near FGCU, and most of my dealings with the students show that they are not rocket scientists. That SAT curve instituted in the 90s must have really swung the scores higher...most of those knives are not very sharp!

It is time to hang up the spikes Favre.

I never thought I could lose repsect for this man. He is falling out of my favorite QBs of all time b/c of this situation. I never thought that would happen until he took the franchise hostage for the last 3 years. Give it up!

Bluesox is obviously not Flood, because the posts are too well written and the words are spelled correctly...for the most-part. You are obviously a friend of hers though, since you are spitting out info as if it were fed to you by her.
This suit will not go away until she realizes she did this to herself. She is the one who created the hostile environment. Those guys may be good old boys, but they can and have successfully worked with other females. Jaye's attitude was her own undoing. Unfortunately, Holly allowed herslef to be influenced too much by Jaye.

I would not send an enemy to purchase a car at Naples Honda. They only want to sell cars where they rip you off. If you ask for a good price, they just tell you to go somewhere else...for they can rip someone else off for more money. You are a fool if you shop there!

Ok, so it is not the thousands I remembered. I am neither a billionaire nor a cranky old fart.

However, I still feel very strongly that we in SWFL pay way too much for Fire Service. One example: a home is valued at $519,320 per leepa.org. The Estero Fire portion was $1,039 for 2007 out of $7,592. That represents 13.7% of the total taxes paid for Fire alone. That is way too high...that is all there is to it!
When I lived elsewhere, I never paid more than $500 towards Fire Service, in homes where I paid more overall in property taxes.
Don't even get me started on homeowner's insurance. They are even bigger gluttons...$4k per year those jerks steal from me!
