No Chi that is what you are suggesting by your post.

I am suggesting that we take a look at our media as a whole. Especially FOX. And how they twist the truth.

It is well known around the world that we took a German citizen prisoner, tourtered him and then released him.

Any rational person knows that we have to use psychological means in order to get intel. However when we blend physical psychological means and have erroneous captives we run the risk of having our whole foreign detainee policy undermined.

While secrecy is important when dealing terrorism. When secrecy is abused, trust is lost and our national security and identidy is at stake.

Other Nations deal with Terrorism. Spain, England, Russia, Israel but we are the only ones that have so pubicly stripped our citizen's rights in order to stop it.

But you can not stop terror. It is an idea. You can only prevent it. By disclosure and education, not War.

Fox News only instigates and propogates a misled war that will produce more terrorist that will prolonge the War on Terror.

This is what i was suggesting.

i was a pretty good ball player.. we are not giving the batter our signs... we are sending them to camp, hazing them then cutting them from the team... this leads the batter to have spite for the team that hazed him and cut him from that team....

thundermcgee more than strange i find it Incredulous that we are pondering privatasion of the infrastructure because those tolls that we pay, by theory and plan are taxes that help society. Now if our tolls are being used in practice to fund other projects that is another subject.

The fact that we are considering selling alligator alley to the Carlyse group or Cintra is just sad.

Once you apply for citizenship you get a temp visa, then alien card. Which allows you apply for a DL.

Why dont we incorporate both programs?

This way we can have illegals become legal.

Or are they going to be illegal for the rest of their lives.

We are marking a person illegal because of an act without giving them the opportunity to correct the action.

Obama is no "folding clown" he is a leader. Not to the left. Not to the right. A leader that needs to take on a mountain of problems left to him by decades of mishandled and ignored policies by both sides of Washington.

I am glad this article was put on the forum.

Usually article tend to be written towards the side of illiegal immigrants.

This one however is not.

In order to apply for citizenship you have to declare yourself and become a resident alien. That in itself will allow you to get a DL.

This article states that the recently naturalized would be frustrated because illegals get DL's does not make sense because the new citizens jumped that hurdle years ago by presenting themselves to immigration.

A passport is a different story.

The article also states "We see it as a circumvention of every immigration safeguard and citizenship standard. We see it as another result of a weak national immigration policy that prizes cheap labor."

We don't see it as that. By including me into your story you think that i dont agree with the proposal or a compromise of it.

That generalization will not work for me.

We recently saw how Kraft wiped its hands clean of hiring illegal workers. There is evidence that the Real ID has a 10% failure rate.

Instead of using stolen or fake social security cards if we are not going to punish our corporations we should use the current DLs. Tweak the system that we already have until Real ID is ready.

This does not make illegals legal it just gives them a way to get on the books. Until they apply for a green card. Then citizenship.

Maybe like a driver's permit for 15 year old.

A DL for non residents.

Require employers to check DLs and socials.
