This league is in trouble..... Pretty soon we'll be back to everyone making the playoffs.... Get ready for future 9 game road trips next year. And when teams come to us, we'll be playing them 3 or 4 times in a row....
After that last Augusta debacle, I'm not sure there is anyone on that team that I would want. Brodeur usually plays well at the Germ but he'll want more time.

JANE AWARD: MFH

For selfishly promoting his own birthday as well as asking for a gift (post 229).....

Hambling: MFH as a greeter? Sure fire way to close the store for good.

Happy B'day MFH. :-)

Making money off of their son's death.... Sad. This isn't a case of someone being negligent (car accident, DUI, guns...) Ereck had a condition that everyone knew about. It was his decision to play. He and the family knew the risk. Everyone on that field was put through the same drills. It was a horrible tragedy, and one that could have been avoided if he simply chose not to play. I guess we are entering a society where we should have different levels of practices for people with all types of ailments. It is not a "right" for all to be able to play sports. You must be able to compete as all the others. Ereck had a lot to offer to all people even without football. It's a shame that won't happen now. And it's also a shame that family members will "profit" from their poor decision. Hope the money eases the pain....

Luvtheblades...he's hopeless. Most of us feel sorry for him... Happy Thanksgiving.

Hambling: Feels like another loss for the Birds this week. Hopefully the nap from eating will last right the game.... Although, there could be a riot right on cue if McNabb has another horrible performance.... Should make for good TV for the NFL network.

The Blades are just dominating right now.... Fun for the fans and I can imagine it must be fun to be in the locker room right now. They must feel invincible at this point. Nice to see them keep working after getting a lead, not giving up a late goal or two.... Consistent play will only bring out the best in them when they will need to be on their "A" game. Tough stretch coming up this weekend...three games, three nights, three different cities. Two out of three would be quite remarkable.... But wouldn't be surprising to see 5 or 6 points even....

Cancel all public holidays that fall on Christian / Jewish holidays. Also, MLK day should be canceled as a holiday as well. Totally offensive to someone. Government should be open for business. Mail should be delivered.... I have no problem with not recognizing Christmas if the government doesn't recognize it ( I don't agree, but I would go along with it).... Make the people work, make kids go to school, etc... It would be a personal preference whether or not to use vacation or just skip school on those days. BTW...some people object to the way our military is run. They should also not celebrate July 4th, Memorial day.... Again the hypocrites will take all the perks.....

That a boy MFH.... You're so much nicer to deal with when you stick to topic...

First goal: Hartlieb

Need to squash Gwinnett tonight to show that they will be buried in third place for the year....or otherwise known as "Gwinnett's First Place"

Chip: good insight... although I'm a fan of playing out the season. I'm not saying it is a foregone conclusion that we win. But this is the most exciting, defensivive, high scoring team that we've seen in years.... We should all enjoy the ride. The only complaint I can see is the slow start....other than that, what is there to complain about? Honestly, I could care less about MC past. Live in the present...do people make mistakes, sure. But so far, the Blades organization has done everything that Brush said he would do after last season....

If Nobili picked up the GF coaching style, then he will be toast....especially in Reading. But hoping he turns it around.

CSA: I would gladly take Spags. He will be a head coach next year somewhere (if he wants to) especially if the Giants repeat (and maybe if they don't...). Reid has got to get his act together, but I think it may be time for him to leave. But I've got a feeling that he will be back, less the GM duties, and McNabb will be gone as well.....
