Re post # 27- who the heck is gonna take time from the ad center to make a surprise visit to "some" teachers classroom? Lord have mercy- there are only 3 of "them" and how many classrooms in CCPS? I think paranoia is getting out of hand. Also- ain't NOBODY gonna tell me who I can and can't talk to and what I am to say if I do!( unless I were a 1st year teacher- then I would keep my mouth shut).

Harley 2- you are correctomundo- There are concordant scores for the ACT and SAT IF a student does not pass the FCAT with the required 300 on the math and 300 on the reading sections. This causes many students to turn to the ACT ( it's easier) to "pass" the FCAT and graduate.

Here's the REASON for low SAT's and ACT's- Too many students who SHOULD NOT EVEN BE TAKING THESE tests because they are NOT COLLEGE BOUND are Taking the test- therefore- lower avg. scores. Hey- It's like if I would enter the Boston Marathon without even training but I could enter the race because ANYONE who could come up with the entry fee could enter and run - what effect do you think that would have on the avg. time IF hundreds of people entered the race the same way?
