Things are obviously not good at the Starbucks stores. With the economy as it is, who can justify their prices? Customers are tightening their belts, and they are hurting, as are many stores. This is the thin end of the 'recession'.

How very sad that yet another bright, promising student has been taken from us due to the idiotic binge-drinking practices which abound in colleges and fraternities.

We expect to get hurricanes in or around Florida every year.....everyone who lives in the state knows that - it's not a new phenomenon for us!!! The number can be anyone's guess!!!

I am not a religious person, but have never opposed others having their beliefs. I decided not to instil any particular religion upon my children. I did, however, want them to be good people (religion is just one of many criteria for this), know how to live a good meaningful life, form their own opinions based on what they understood and felt drawn to, and make up their own minds. This they have done, and I am very proud of them. I pity this gentleman's children, as they will never have the chance to 'form their own opinions'. They will be as narrow-minded as he is.

Did no-one see the first set of lashes to this poor girl's body??? Why did the police meet him at a school??? What was he doing there??? More details would be appreciated...even though the whole thing is so appalling. Make the punishment fit the crime....there is no excuse for this.

Ridiculous comment. A one time story letting people know the business is there? That is not advertising, just useful local info. If it appeared week after week, that would be advertising, for which the business would pay.
