I know Andrew Shaffer very well and he is most surely not a punk. Just the opposite. Very polite, honest and as good a man that you can be at 22yrs of age. I'm sure Shaffer was not the only person interviewed. He was the only one who had the guts to say what needed to be said to get something done about the situation he was leaving. With hopes of improving the work atmosphere for those left behind. I'd heard for years about how she ran roughshod over people under her. I wish Andrew or others had said something earlier but we all know how those situations end up 95% of the time. Brigid resigned because she couldn't stand the heat and knew it was gonna get a lot hotter. She learned a few valuable lessons. What goes around, comes around. Respect is earned not demanded. And my favorite. Treat others as you wish to be treated.

Leave the flag line out. They were absolutely horrible at the Gulfcoast/Barron game. BCHS looked like they had never practiced. Pretty sad from where they used to be.

I know this young man. He's a good kid and very respectful. I know he and his family must be hurting. Certainly not physically like the guy in critical condition but still "hurting". #13 you're a jerk and people like you always get theirs at some point. #19 great post. Very sad for all concerned.

Please some one explain to me this. The gas in the giant underground tank cost less. Why can they charge more for it. They didn't pay more for it! To me thats price gouging. I know there's some good "reason" but it really torks me off.

After reading most of these post I came to this conclusion. Talk is cheap and actions speak louder then words. Most of society gets so rattled and mad when these people are arrested. We say we want this and that done. But do our cries for true change ever come to pass. NO. Because we won't take the time to hit the streets. We should DEMAND true justice! We should turn out by the droves at the court house, the police stations, the TV stations and shout in a clear and unified voice. WE ARE TIRED OF THIS BEHAVIOR AND WILL NOT TOLERATE IT ANY LONGER. Who among us will be a leader and lead. People have a need to be lead. I did not say "controlled" . Lead, as in striving to reach a shared and common goal. Guess I didn't need the 2nd cup of coffee. RISE UP PEOPLE AND TAKE BACK OUR JUDICIAL SYSTEM.

At least it s a start in the right direction. Just think if we got hit by a hurricane. who'd pay to clean up the vacant homes and land?

yet another reason to concealed weapons permit. Anybody ever comes at me with a hammer he better kill me with the first blow cause I wouldn't be trying to shoot the hammer out of his hand.I leave that level of marksmanship to Clint Eastwood. lol

oh no! I better sell my guns. My wife is 5 years my senior. Maybe I'll just hide the ammo. Sure glad I never taught her to shoot but then again anyone can get lucky once. right?

No way does Ft.Myers need another field. A huge waste of taxpayer money. How many years are the Sox under contract to stay here. Any less then 15 and taxpayers are getting screwed.
