Anyone else here a survivor of the Our Lady of the Angels fire in Chicago?
Tomorrrow is the 50 year anniversary of the fire.
There is a website, www.OLDfire.com, which has wonderful tributes and a blog for the survivors and their families.
If you remember it, this is a wonderful website.
This is something we should never forget.

As for the money apent, all I can think of is how many shelters would have benefitted from that money.
No matter how beautiful the decorations are on the outside, it's a very ugly waste of money.
