So sad! A man loses his life and the color of his skin and who's president is the subject of the blog. It makes no difference what color he was or for that matter, where he lived as his family now has to spend their holidays without him and the entire area will be affected. My condolences to the family.

It's neat that NDN did a year end story on some of the public figures and although I can't see ever voting for Vinnie, his idea of an elephant was pretty original. Happy holidays!

A kind and caring woman who made some decisions not all would agree with but that is not possible, especially in the county. Well wishes even to all the scrooges and a hug for Linda. Enjoy your family Mrs. Abbott and Happy Holidays.

Have been a neighbor to her for 7 years now and she's always been very kind, caring, and courteous. I didn't know the details of her occupation but there appears to be the usual NDN slant to this story.

We adopted our much loved dog, family member, from the animal shelter after losing the previous to cancer. They said they microchip and spay/neuter as part of the adoption fee. None of the vets we've used have been successful in finding the chip. Little too much faith in technology. I'm sure there was little space to hold on to the dog to check, but it does sound like this was rushed all too much. My adopted friend at least got her 5 days plus giving us time to give her a home with us. It's a shame Suzanne didn't get the same to find her loved pet.

I was forewarned about this after having brought my new diesel vehicle back to the dealership several times when the vehicle hesitated and left me in the road several times but there were few distanced options then and none that I know of now to buy fuel from without it so it seems we are stuck.Just brought the vehicle back from the dealership again this week with the same problem and the boat should be out of the shop today.

Thanks so much post 16! There is no reason not to vote NO on this silly amendment. Let people LIVE. There is so much more to do with our time.

Well said Blue tongued vole! I had a similar terrifying incident some years back leaving an intersection on 41 near Perkins. While waiting for the light, a cyclist quickly rode his bicycle around my van and directly in front of me just as the light turned green! Had I not had a passenger spot him, who knows what may have happened!
I've seen just as many older drivers make mistakes as younger and unfortunately, far more cyclists and pedestrians completely ignore all laws as they share the road.
