Guilty or not, should a 15 year old have their mug in the paper...?

estateslady11, some people did sit on their behinds and ignored the warnings. Others were veterans, on a fixed income unable to afford a vehicle, or to old to drive, who fought to protect your right to spout off your ignorant views.

I don't understand these turtle people. They run around Collier County beaches in boats and four wheelers counting turtle nests and plotting them with GPS units. They camp out at night and 'assist' the turtle hatchings, they pass laws to turn off lights, yet when a storm is forecast ten days in advance, nothing is done to protect nesting sites.
I walk the beaches all the time and witnessed nests that suffered some erosion from the waves. How difficult would it be to build something like a sand bag bunker around a turtle nest?

Why only run a FCIC when they should also run an NCIC, a national check? The person may be wanted in another state and may slip through the cracks again.
It's hardly difficult as many cops run checks while sitting at a traffic light.

"...Her mother testified she reported her daughter missing, but was told to call the next morning if she hadn’t returned..."
Wow, what a mistake that was by the police. Any missing juvenile must be entered into NCIC right away, at least anywhere outside of Mayberry.

I think an important question would be at 25 or 50 miles, would we see the oil platforms while sitting in a beach chair? I think one can see about 21 miles out towards the horizon before things start to 'bend.'
What about it Brent?

Regarding that little Cantore guy...anyone hear him forecast 'massive loss of live' when the storm passed over the Dominican Republic? What a dork.
Anyway, the citizens don't have to worry because all the media types do it for us! Storm surge is my only worry, but from my perch up high I plan on doing what I did during Charlie and Wilma- sit on the lanai and watch the show!

Any ideas on what type of 'game' he was going to play?
Well, obviously it was 'tag.'
