looks like the collier commissioners have no new ideas so we need another new association to tell us what we need. and will the commissioners agree?
can you teach an old dog new tricks? tough times need new ideas and tough decisions. doubt the old guard has the gumption to be progressive.

HERE WE GO
NO ONE CARES WE ARE PAYING 13K AN ACRE FOR PEPPER RANCH WHILE THE STATE PAYS 7.5 K FOR US. SUGAR LAND. AND 1000 ACRES IN PEPPER RANCH ARE ALREADY LOCKED UP AS CONSERVATION LAND SO WE PAY TWICE,
THE CONSERVANCY HAS THEIR GROUPS OF PEOPLE THAT ARE MAKING TONS OF MONEY OVER AND OVER AGAIN, SOMEONE NEEDS TO DO A FLOW CHART AND FOLLOW THE MONEY OF WHO GETS WHAT.

On Naples company angry at Collier bidding process

Posted on December 3 at 10:08 a.m.

wow. lets see pay a tax for conservation collier to pick up property then pay again for panther rights. again coletta is right. forget about those private mitigation companies that shuffle and take money in the name of conservation. they take money for their own greed, just like an enron exec. we should pay nothing. considering we already over paid for pepper ranch by about 13 million why should the taxpayer pay any more. us sugar got 7,500 an acre. pepper ranch cost 13,500 an acre . no lets refigure because 985 of those acres were already locked up as undevelopable land so we really paid 21,000 an acre so 3 times what the state is paying for US sugar. allen and taylor can hi five all the way to the bank. the tax payers of collier will wake up some day and watch out.

On Collier could save millions under panther plan

coletta got it right. keep the locals employed, (wonder where that came from, i'm sure the lack of competition in his re-election bid had nothing to do with it) i digress
hey how about we sell advertising rights to allow businesses to maintain the medians. I mean with nice carved rich looking wood signs that says who maintains the area and plugs the business. just like keeping roads clear by some businesses.

On Collier commissioners put impact fee problem in hands of county’s Productivity Committee

let's look at our commisioner "speak" at work.
coletta says " I have not seen the new ordinance but do not think it is enforceable". DUH?
further he states “It raises a problem,” Coletta said, adding that making an activity illegal without offering legal alternatives doesn’t really make sense.
what is the legal alternative to stealing , or cocaine, or running red lights.
holy cow batman! the nuts are running the asylum
