Every response by Israel has been a result of the
actions of the Palestinians. Every time Israel
gives an inch, the result is the same, more rocket attacks. How many times must they endure attacks on their civilians (Jewish children bleed too) before they take the steps required to ensure the safety of their people.

The Palestinians in Gaza made their choice when they elected gangsters to represent them. Now, they're reaping the rewards. Perhaps some day they'll learn that Never Again! means Never Again!

With all due respect, each of your posts indicate to me that you have little knowledge of firearms and firearms law.

If you have no knowledge of the subject, never held a gun, and as you claim, never even seen one, it's impossible to develop an educated, informed opinion.

I suggest you start by looking up the federal and state laws regarding the purchase and use of firearms.

Then visit a local gun range, or the local police, and ask what guns are used a particular purpose (where you'll learn that Glocks are very commonly used for target/compition shooting).

Then you will, pardon the pun, be better armed to make an informed judgement on gun ownership in America.

I would also like to point out that people have been killed as a result of living in a locality where politicians and other officials get to decide who has an "immediate need" for personal protection.

Let us ban all guns on Dec 31, so by Jan 2, the country will never have a shooting again.

The criminals will have to smuggle them in from the thriving gun industries of China, Russia, Italy, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Turkey, and yes, even the U.K. Or, if they're feeling really lazy, I'm sure there are plenty of people in Africa willing sell an AK or two for the right price.

Given that certain drugs have been illegal for nearly 100 years, and no one can get them, we already see how well this would work.
