It's really quite simple here folks......Dual possesion goes to the offense.....period.... Both players had possesion of the ball, landed IN BOUNDS (you only need one foot in bounds in high school, but they both had both feet in, by the way) and then they fell out of bounds....It WAS NOT DUAL possesion- out-of bounds. I am not sure what all the confusion is here.......They had the ball IN BOUNDS, with posession, then afterwards, fell out of bounds......It was a HORRIFIC call that benefited Naples and took the game and season away from Dunbar. End of story...

Dual possesion goes to the offensive team. period.......I am a Naples fan.... my son goes there, but that was absolutley a touchdown for Dunbar....I feel terrible the referees took it away from them like that......Maybe I am wrong, but I played football for a long time, and my understanding has alway been that dual possesion goes to the offensive team. The replay CLEARLY shows that the Dunbar receiver had the ball and possesion in bounds......Tough one for Dunbar, especially since the Referee closest to the play called it a touchdown, then was overruled by another Referee away from the play......Just not right.

WOW!! I am a Naples fan......My son attends school there, but that was absolutely a touchdown for Dunbar. I feel terrible for those kids, having that winning catch taken away....The replay on the news confirmed it....a definite catch all the way. They showed it in slow motion, as well, which showed it even more clearly. Both kids had the ball with possesion before they went out of bounds....That is a catch for the offensive(Dunbar) team.....An early christmas gift from the referees for Naples......Quite a shame for those Dunbar kids to have it stolen away from them like that....

There is a reason why it is always about Quin.....just look at the boxscore or watch the game. He is the most dominant player out there.

Blue is a monster.......great kid too! My oldest son played basketball with him the last 2 years. My youngest, like Blue, is a middle linebacker for his pop-warner team. When we go to the NHS games, I tell him to watch Blue.....That's how I want you to play!
