The only reason Gramm left the Senate is because his wife was on the Board of Directors of Enron. A CPA no less who claims she didn't know what those theives were up to. He knew he would never be re-elected in Texas again and moved out, taking a job selling securities. The same securities that the over 55 crowd he talks about put their savings in. This man, along with his in-crowd cronies, are the reason our economy is going down the tube. And to think at one time McCain was going to make him the economic advisor to his administration.

So will the NDN reimburse we county taxpayers for the hundreds of dollars of staff time wasted on this attempt at gotcha journalism? What about the $5.40 for copying charges that they skipped out on at the county when they decided not to pick up what they requested and staff provided? Obviously the NDN thinks nothing about wasting taxpayer's money. But watch their next story be about the county agencies and "wasted tax money".

Regardless of what their land was worth before they didn't sell it. Now the initial offer would be very close to what it is currently worth. They're lucky to get what they are in line to get. Stop being so greedy.

eco - when you're right you're right. Oh well, at least she has a dream that it will all come back someday soon. For those who have a secure and steady source of income (not me) and can handle the constant increases in insurance (not me) this might be a good time to start looking for property.

However, if your cell phone is locked they will not be able to access your contacts, so they won't be able to read your ICE entry. Better to register your emergency information with your Driver's License through the Florida Dept. of Motor Vehicles website. Either that or keep your cell phone unlocked and ready for all of those calls overseas at your expense when someone walks off with your phone.

I love listening to Republicans whine when they can't gouge people for goods or services. Sure, the NPS could charge more than necessary so that customers would go elsewhere, but wouldn't that be Socialism? Where's Joe the Plumber Wannabe (a.k.a. Joe the Welfare Dad) when we need him. I bet he could stop this example of free market commercialism. Let's face it folks, they won't be coming with those gas guzzling RV's for a few years because gas prices are too high, no one is loaning money to buy them, and 6.5% of the people in this country are on unemployment.

Typical Collier SO. The question is: will Rambosk be able to bring this agency into the 21st century American mainstream? Or will they continue to be an embarrassment to the taxpayers of this County?
