Aren't MOST ELL teachers latino? Aren't they hired SPECIFICALLY because they can communicate to the students in Spanish?

Littering? That's as good a reason as ANY for arresting an illegal alien.
This arrest resulted in a criminal illegal alien being taken off our streets. GOOD!

Americans don't HAVE to "assimiliate" - immigrants do.
That is THEIR responsibility when immigrating to a new country - Americans would be expected to "assimilate" to the country THEY immigrate to.
If someone visits me at my home, I expect them to clean the toilet seat after using it - it's not up to me to clean it for them - then be expected to apologize to them for not "assimilating" to their 3rd world conduct.
I'm all for REAL immigrants - as long as they come here ready to assimilate into OUR culture - if not, I have no use for them or their culture.

What I don't "take kindly to" is someone like NaplesTaco basically telling us to bend over and take it up the you-know-what.

No we DON'T "have to assimilate to each other"......multi-generational Americans do NOT have to "get used to" illegal aliens and their abettors.
They came to OUR country - we didn't go to theirs.
We owe them NOTHING. In fact, they owe it to the U.S. for the opportunities that they would NEVER have had in life - yet read the incendiary posts of the ingrates.
I won't be a doormat like you seem to be aiming for.

There is no way I would have left without my best friend. That would be the first thing I thought of before trying to save myself. Sorry for his loss.
Some animals are far more evolved than most humans (like R_Paret- I'm ASSUMING they're human) - maybe that's WHY they're "pampered".
Don't be jealous that no one loves you the way an animal loves it's owner. You might evolve to their level one day - unlikely, but possible.
