Joseph Schipani, 32, of 4785 Barkley Circle, Fort Myers, was arrested Saturday at 3300 Santa Barbara Blvd. He was charged with grabbing a woman by the neck and hitting her twice on the right cheek.
Joseph Schipani plead self-defense because he had been the victim of the actual charges. He was only arrested because it was the wife of an off-duty State Trooper who called police and when city cops find out that information, they were prejudice and arrested Joseph with an incomplete investigation. Nine hours after he was detained they booked him in and his neck marks from the assault had since faded from the mugshot. He was found not guilty by a jury of his peers.

Is this the most current information available on this case? This is dated August 28th and it is now 9-11. If anyone knows any more info or updates please link.
