We'd prefer him to actually use good judgement and not get involved with shady businesses in the first place. But I guess that train already left the station.

Burt thinks YTB isn't a pyramid scheme -- even though the evidence overwhelmingly shows that it is, and that YTB has bilked millions of dollars from people.
By the same token though, he thinks the $700 billion federal government bailout that broke the debt clock and crashed the stock market was a good idea too.
Of course, let's not forget that he thought it was ok to skip out on last year's special session to go on vacation in China, leaving Collier and Lee counties without a voice during crucial negotiations in Tallahassee.
Oh, and that's right, he even thought it was ok to be a registered lobbyist and a state senator at the same time.
Well, Burt's rose colored glasses may distort his view of what's right and wrong, but the rest of us can see it clearly in black and white.

Green. Hmm. Like the color of the millions and millions of dollars Burt swindled from people since he joined the board of the YTB pyramid scheme.

Saunders said the situation could shine a light on his financial and legal background, badly needed now he said as Congress faces a national financial crisis.
Ha! Shine a light?
This is the same guy who thought the bailout was a good idea, and look where that got us...
He's helping to lead a public company that has swindled millions of dollars from people....
Of course, this is also the same guy who thought it was ok to be a registered lobbyist and a state senator at the same time....
So yes, it shines a light on something. And it should scurry back under a rock.

"Saunders said the situation could shine a light on his financial and legal background, badly needed now he said as Congress faces a national financial crisis."
Are you kidding me? First this guy supported the bailout, and look where that terrible idea got us.
Now he wants us to believe that his experience in helping to lead a company that has swindled millions of dollars from people is what we need in Congress?
What a joke.

Is it any wonder that Burt supported the bailout? Burt's pyramid scheme gets shadier and shadier at every turn.
And let's not forget, Burt told NDN's Charlie Whitehead that his leadership role at YTB should be seen as a "positive".
Give me a break.
