Maybe Jack can sell the empty weed infested lot to the county. The commissioners could erect tents, porta potties, and a soup kitchen thereby converting the land into a giant homeless camp solving several problems simultaneously. The Gordon River being just across Goodlette would be a convenient place for bathing and recreation. To get the ball rolling I will provide appraisal services at a steep discount.

At 2am the vehicle "appeared" to have excessive window tint so the vehicle was pulled over. No mention is made of the driver being cited for excessive tint. I am all for law enforcement but find it troubling that from a practical standpoint the cops need no real reason to pull us over while we drive our vehicles.

Eduardo L. Vegabarzaga, 42, of 4896 Tropicana Blvd., Golden Gate, was arrested....and so on. Poor dude, how would like to pronounce that name at a DUI checkpoint after two six packs?

I smell some wealth envy. If the plantiffs were an East Naples working class family who spent $11.95 for decorating there would likely be less animosity. Anyway the fact that the website is kaput suggests the decorator is now taking the matter seriously. Also for you confused about the Pelican Bay/Pelican Marsh issue. Bay Colony(in the white area of Pelican Bay) also has a sister Bay Colony Golf Estates/Club across 41 in Pelican Marsh. So if you live in Bay Colony Estates technically you do live amongst the unfortunate of Pelican Marsh but really you are in the nice part of Pelican Bay. They even have an extra gate to keep out the Pelican Marsh undesirables. Merry Christmas.

I have to agree with blade, sounds like a big misunderstanding. I did hear that attorney Hodge used asbestos gloves Monday when she handed Parson's $5K and $10K checks to Krier.

Ladies, I suspect Llerena voluntarily had his pinkies checked at the stop. Had he not he would have been arrested for no valid drivers license etc. and when booked his prints would have been taken as usual. Same result without 4th amendent issue by bloggers. Interestingly, I heard what tipped off the deputy was the siphon hose on the passenger seat and diesel fumes on Juan's breath.

Brutal stuff. Reminds me of the movie Scarface when the Pacino character says..."say hello to my little friend!" Hard to believe retired gangsters are in our midst.

Sorrell was “very nervous and his hands were visible shaking.” The problem with that police statement is that law enforcement always exaggerates the situation. My father who is with FDLE informed me yes Mr. Sorrell appeared the nervous but it was the brown liquid running down his leg into his Nike's that prompted more attention leading to the arrest.

Excellent post #27. I stand corrected. As a gesture of friendship I am donating a case of dictionaries to the CCSO.
