The reason these events will never happen is because of people just like the ones on this blog. Too much noise, where is everyone going to park, its the rich people getting richer, its going to stink, blah blah blah. Don't forget people the last offshore powerboat race in Ft Myers also included an air show... Talk about noise and horsepower...Personally I hope Ft. Myers gets the races back because a great event like this would be ruined if held here.
