Lets not forget what happened to the donated waterfront property.

Across from the Antaramian Property there's Waterfront Property that in 1997, John Pulling Sr. donated for a boat ramp, north of the Bayfront shops, on the west side of the river. Pulling died in 2005. John “Alec” Pulling Jr. filed two lawsuits in 2007 over the donated land and the city’s compliance with restrictions the elder Pulling placed on adjacent land he sold the city in 1995.
After a costly legal battle, "the fighting ended in May 2008, when the city and Pulling exchanged a series of deeds and easement documents to return the donated land to Pulling’s family."

Now it looks like Collier County Parks will end up with the property...

So someone tell me whats wrong with this picture...Why should we buy Antaramians land between 10th and Goodlette when we could have had the Waterfront Land for free?

Naples should consider some changes regarding Taxi Companies that are all over Fifth and Third.

Taxi Companies should have to do background checks on all drivers, then submit their findings to police, along with a fee. Police would review the background checks and decide whether to approve or deny the license. Each license would be valid for one year.

After 10 Years of the City gave back 7 Acres of Waterfront Land!

Land that was once owned by the late John Pulling Sr. The 7 acres was slated for a public marina. This was never a gift to the city," Pulling said by telephone after the settlement. "It was a gift to the boaters of Collier County, the poorer people. Now we've taken back the property and we're going to do what my father intended."

What's wrong with this picture?

"Naples pioneer John Pulling Sr. donated land for the boat ramp on the west side of the river, north of the Bayfront shops" the City didn't take advantage of the WATERFRONT DONATION! Now the Mayor wants the City to purchase the 22 acres of land across the road on Goodlette-Frank and Fifth Avenue South. "Jack Antaramian has authorized his staff to look into the possibility of selling all or a substantial part of the 22 acres which comprise Renaissance Village to the city of Naples for fair market value." Fair Market value?..Jack your no John Pulling.....Someone tell me why should the Taxpayers bail out Jack Antaramian and loose the Tax revenue?
