for as much work as JY has put into Lee County he should be making twice that amount. He works 25 hours a day, 8 days a week. Ask anyone that works for the county. He takes pride in Lee County and Ft. Myers, that is his life. I am pretty sure that he worked at Terry Park when the Royals were there. Thanks John for all of your hard work. If it wasn't for you and Bill H, Lee County would be nothing.

As a fan of high school football, and not really a fan of Naples, I can tell by reading many of these comments that most of you never played high school football. After a season of tough games for NHS they finally got a chance to let their subs play and a chance to actually work on things, and try things in game situations to prepare for the future and for the rest of the season. Yes, Estero did not pose much of a threat, but they did score 21 pts against Naples last year so I am sure they prepared for a tough game like they do every week. It didn't take long to figure out that Estero was undersized and over-matched and maybe that safety weighed 150lbs with his equipment on, but you have to play the game. Naples did nothing wrong and Estero did nothing right. And being on both sides of these scores, there is nothing more embarrassing for the losing team, than a team giving up on your behalf. I am sure that the Estero players were upset with the loss but at least they did it with some dignity left. The coaches are working these kids hard everyday, how can you expect less out of them because the scoreboard dictates it? I felt bad for Estero and Naples but they played football for 48 minutes, just like their coaches expected of them. Let it go. Naples has another big game this week and Estero has another tough opponent.

I guarantee more people would watch the Red Sox vs Rays game in the middle of a pennant race, than the re-runs of 2 and a half men, 90210, and Privileged? What is that? A TV show about BCHS? Who knew?
