how about finding a privatized superintendent? I am proposing the district hire me for 100,000 and they can save the 140,000 per year. Oh, and my proposal doesn't call for the 2 dixie chicks so another 340,000 can be saved.... so to recap...contract me and the district can save 480,000. You may ask me about my level of knowledge and I can assure you that I would know more than you locals because I had a cousin that attended Rockford Schools and I have visited the Rockford schools website so obviously this makes me more knowledgeable than you neopolitans...wink wink..

PUBLIC please remember that their is always one or several in every community. School teachers and school systems are not perfect but I assure you that in these cases the school district has gone above and beyond. If the parents didn't like the services provided by the public schools then how come they didn't enroll the student in the Community School or some private local academy that they would be able to get the "best".....see point is that public education is FREE and these people seem to want to get more even at the detriment of other students!!! Also, the number of ESE lawsuits listed in this article are in most cases duplicated as they have been filed by the same families regarding different matters...

Could we have an article or update on any of last years graduates that are not football stars? How about a story about a student that is receiving excellent grades in college, or that is working two jobs and trying to keep up grades but, that is getting by? Not meaning to disrespect this young man....just my thoughts!

Radio News!!! FACTS are the school board did not interview anyone except one candidate for the superintendent job. I am presuming that when your buddy lost rating and they were bringing someone in to replace him that they interviewed more than one candidate?
