He should have read the surgeon general's warning sticker on the packaging of the pellet gun that said...

"WARNING : Pointing this gun at a law enforcement or armed citizen can be hazardous to your health. Side effects may include loss of bodily functions or death."

Although it is easy to arm-chair quarterback sometimes... I think that the CCSO was absolutely in the right here! One less danger to society.

On UPDATE: Collier Sheriff’s Office still investigating shooting by deputies

Posted on November 12 at 1:41 p.m.

I would like to say a few things... first and foremost this was a senseless crime. It is the victim's family who suffers through all of this.

In reference to fearisfailure's comment... I would just like to point out one thing...it is NOT the police or sheriff who prosecutes cases. When a case is poorly prosecuted, that blame rests only on the State Prosecutors who's job it is to aggressively prosecute cases, whether it be for murder, theft or any other criminal offense. Blaming the police for a failed prosecution is like blaming the plumber because your electric gets shut off. This is certainly no attack on anyone but just pointing out the simple fact.

Unemployed? Sounds to me like Mr. Green is looking for an easy paycheck at the expense of the CCSO and the taxpayers!

I agree #6. This is a result of a failed justice system in Florida. Four counts of armed robbery just two years ago and he's out? It appears that the police did their jobs by arresting this guy several times, only to have a court system let him go.

I agree with you cit10driver! Too bad the headlines didn't read that. They look like a bunch of P's.O.S. Hopefully the judge sends them away and forgets about them. We as a community need to send a strong message to these scum.

Where is the idiot that always makes a point to comment when a non hispanic gets arrested? Not around when the illegals are arrested? Makes for less typing I guess?

Anyway...this post has been too entertaining for someone to bring it down!

Yeah really!! I don't see anything racist about that description at all! It gets old hearing someone scream racism every time someone's ethnicity is mentioned or described! Nothing derogatory about the description provided! Go find a tree to hug!

I can't believe that this is news worthy! It's not even funny. I can understand if there was some humor to it but come on! Some idiot shoots himself in the toe and it makes the news?
